OZARK…Mr. Alto Lee Williams, Jr. (Specialist, United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died Thursday morning, July 28, 2022, at an Ozark nursing home. He was 74.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow in St. Louis Baptist Church Cemetery in Elamville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Kate Williams; father, Alta Lee Williams, Sr.; four brothers, Willie Mack Williams, Jay Lee Williams, Douglas Williams, and Neal Williams; a nephew, Neal Alexander Williams; uncle, James Underwood.
Surviving relatives include his ex-wife, Willie Williams; two daughters, Shree Williams and Angela Williams; son, Alta Williams and Stacy Fryer; twelve grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Shree Williams, Quantavious Williams, Jaylen Fryer, Cornelius Fryer, Raymoun Williams, Lakevious Williams, Tamiah Williams, Tyazia Newman, Rydell Williams, Stacy Fryer and Stephon McCray; thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Debra Shipman; brother-in-law, Alto Shipman; sister-in-law, Lavern Williams and Lacey Stewart Williams; aunts, Annette Bryant, Dorothy Flowers, and Pearlene Underwood; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family that loves him dearly.
