Bambi Callahan Shipman

OZARK…Bambi Darlene Callahan Shipman, a resident of Ozark, died early Wednesday evening, November 6, 2024, in Dale Medical Center. She was 66.

 In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

 Ms. Shipman was born March 14, 1958, in Austell, Georgia and formerly lived in Clinton, South, Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Ozark in 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Callahan Finley; a sister, Phyllis Simmons; two brothers, Thomas Scott Finley and Johnny Finley.

 Surviving relatives include her daughter, Jennifer Crowell, Ozark; son, Kevin Dewayne Bennett, Lafayette, Georgia; two sisters, Angela Burton (Buddy) and Rebecca Finley; two brothers, Barry Finley (Jean) and Russell David, all of South Carolina; aunt, who was like her sister, Penny Ellenburg (Jerry), Ozark; uncle, Leon Callahan (Misty); nieces, nephews, and cousins including, Wayne Bennett (Judy), Ozark and Tracy Sanchez, South Carolina.
