Billy Walker Sr.

Billy R. Walker, Sr., of Ozark, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at his residence. He was 81.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Haw Hill Assembly of God Church Cemetery, 17996 Hwy 125, Brundidge, AL, with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Mr. Walker was born January 23, 1936 in Dozier, Alabama where he lived the early years of his life. He was employed as a millwright and a mechanic most all of his working life and loved to fish.

He is survived by six children, Stephanie K. Hollifield of Crestview, FL, Billy Wayne Walker of Ozark, AL Richard Walker, Jr. of Crestview, FL, Rosetta E. Johnson of Ariton, AL, John Eric Walker of Grand Bay, AL and Richard Kevin Walker of Georgia; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
