OZARK… Mr. Bo Rhodes, a resident of Ozark, died unexpectedly Monday morning, November 29, 2021, at his home. He was 65.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Burgess officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow in Blue Springs Word of Truth Church Cemetery, between Blue Springs and Clio. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rhodes, son of the late Roland LaVerne Rhodes and Pauline Marie Parks, was a native of Ozark. He was a 1974 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was formerly employed with Civil Service at Fort Rucker and Eglin Air Force Base. Following his retirement, he returned to Ozark in 2007. Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Burgess Rhodes, a brother, Roland Sam Rhodes.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Brittany Rhodes-Thompson and husband, Adam, Fort Walton Beach, FL; a son, Brandon Rhodes (SFC, United States Army) and wife, Ashley, Ft. Meade, MD; a sister, Alicia Galland (Roland), Ozark; two brothers, Robert Rhodes and Paul Rhodes (Linda), all of Ozark; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Shehane, Ozark, Linda Campbell (Billy), Clio, and Tammy Rhodes, Ozark; brother-in-law, Reverend Tim Burgess (Melissa), Ozark; several nieces and nephews.
