Brenda Snell

DOTHAN…. Mrs. Brenda Tipler Snell, a resident of Dothan (formerly of the Echo Community), died Friday evening, March 18, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 57.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Snell was born January 24, 1965 and moved to Echo in 2005 where she lived until moving to Dothan in 2020. She attended Living Water Church in Echo. Mrs. Snell enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and most of all University of Alabama Football. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee Tipler and Betty Grace Miller Smith, her husband, David Dowling Snell.

Surviving relatives include her son, James Cornett, Dothan; sister, B.J. Vernon, Enterprise; sister-in-law, Trish Chancey (Todd), Echo Community; step-son, David Ezra Snell, Redlands, CA; step siblings, Gary Jenkins, Vicki Brewer, both of Dothan, and Nicole George, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Kailey Buhrmann; cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
