ARITON…Brittanie Elizzabeth Ferguson, a resident of Ariton, died Thursday evening, December 23, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Enterprise. She was 32.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Stephanie Abel officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Brittanie was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Ozark in 1994. She was a 2008 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College and Troy University. Brittanie was currently employed with Local Finance as a loan officer. She was an avid Ariton Purple Cats Sports Mom, being at every game she could with her children. Brittanie was preceded in death by her father, Edward James Ferguson.
Surviving relatives include her two children, Damien Wiggins and Kyla Wiggins; mother, Misty Ferguson (Jan Marchant), Opelika; grandmother, Catherine Wiley, Opelika; two brothers, Jason Ferguson (Angela), Midland City and Joseph Ferguson (Danielle), Ozark; sister, Brandie Ferguson (Bobby Allen), Pinckard; nieces and nephews, Kaden Sorrells, Peyton Ferguson, Savannah Ferguson, Scena Allen, Gage Allen, and Nathan Allen; father of her children, David Wiggins, Jr., Ozark and his parents, Wendy and David Wiggins, Sr., Ewell, and David's brother, Dustin Wiggins, Ewell; her other mother, Kassie Adams.
