OZARK… Mr. Chris Williams (PFC, Alabama Army National Guard), a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was 39.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lyle Peluso officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his sister, Cynthia, 356 Brown Dr., Ozark, Alabama.
Chris was born March 9, 1982, in Monroeville, Alabama and formerly lived in the Midland City area before moving to Ozark. He was a 2000 Graduate of Dale County High School and also a graduate of the Alabama Aviation Center in Ozark. Chris was currently employed with the WalMart Distribution Center in Brundidge as a forklift operator. He was also currently serving in the Alabama Army National Guard, 781st Transportation Unit in Montgomery.
Surviving relatives include his two daughters, Makayla Williams and Madalynn Williams; son, Steven “J.T.” Williams; mother, Donna Moody Cullifer (James), Midland City; father, Steven Eugene Williams (Linda), Level Plains; sister, Cynthia McNeal (Michael), Ozark; niece and nephews, Zachary Rawlett, Liam McNeal, and Liliana McNeal; mother of his children, Shanna Stevens Williams; numerous cousins and other relatives.
