DOTHAN…Mrs. Della Cross Wichowski Stevens, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Ozark), died early Thursday morning, April 25, 2024, at the home of her son. She was 76.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stevens was born February 2, 1948, in Frisco City, Alabama and formerly lived in Daleville, Ozark, and Dothan. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Wichowski and Henry “Steve” Stevens and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Tina Marie Mauldin (Dennis), Panama City, Florida; two sons, James Thomas Wichowski (Tabatha), Panama City, Florida and Joseph Wichowski(Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Retire), Dothan; brother, Wayne Cross (Nadine), Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Malory Collier(Taylor), Justin Mauldin, Joshua Wichowski (Caitlyn), Rachel Wichowski, and Joseph Wichowski; three great-grandchildren, EvaAnne Collier, Allie Collier, and Gentry Wichowski.
