OZARK…. Mrs. Elda M. Santos Serrano, a resident of Ozark, died early Thursday morning, July 16, 2020 in Dale Medical Center. She was 85.
Heaven celebrates the arrival of Elda Serrano, born and raised in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico and resident of Alabama, who left for the Lord's arms this morning at 5:30 a.m.
Elda was a caring mother to her six children, a grandmother, a loyal sister, a loving aunt, and a faithful wife during her 66 years of marriage to Miguel Serrano, Sr.
Let us celebrate her life and works of charity for her neighbor when, as a Catholic Eucharistic Minister, she brought the bread of God to the sick and gave them emotional support.
In her work as a Family Health Worker she provided help, advice and support to HIV / AIDS patients. Lover of flowers and nature, she took care of her garden and fed the birds.
Her laborious hands made Victorian decorations and reminders that adorned our homes and family activities.
Much-loved neighbor in her neighborhood and her home and gardens awarded by gardening circles. Those of us who knew and loved you will always remember you for your help to others, your smile, and your love for family.
