OZARK…Eli Phillips, a resident of Ozark, died late Monday morning, September 27, 2021, in Dale Medical Center following his battle with cancer. He was 47.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the Pavilion at Ed Lisenby Public Lake in Ozark. The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Eli was a native of Ozark and was a 1992 Graduate of Carroll High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Ozark. Eli was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stephen Phillips, grandfather, Herschel Baker.
Surviving relatives include his son, Drew Wilson, Tuscumbia; his best friend, companion, and caregiver, Trish Echevarrias, Ozark; mother, Mona Baker Grubbs, Ozark; grandmother, Eunice Baker, Warner Robins, GA; sister, Amy Bourkard (Eddie); brother, Nat Phillips (Rose); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
