Elizabeth A Sharp

OZARK…Elizabeth A. Sharp, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, July 1, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. She was 79.

 In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

 Miss Sharp, daughter of the late Thomas Kenneth Sharp and Elizabeth A. Channel Sharp, was a native of Atco, New Jersey and attended school in Atco.  She was a veteran of the United States Navy and some of her favorite things included baking, her animals, and her family. She formerly was employed with Road Construction for the State of Ohio with her best friend, Shirley Lagore-Rogers. She owned and operated American Transport, Inc., a truck dispatch company in Ozark, and was formerly employed by Wal Mart in Ozark in the Garden Center prior to retirement.

 Surviving relatives include a daughter, Deborah Kiel (Greg), Brundidge, Alabama; two brothers, Thomas Kenneth Sharp (Rosa), Wilton Manors, Florida and George John Sharp (Terry), Port Charlotte, Florida; two grandchildren, Christopher P. Quinn and Kyle T. Quinn; eight great grandchildren.
