Jeffrey Tharp

SKIPPERVILLE…Mr. Jeff Tharp, a resident of Skipperville, died early Wednesday morning, October 20, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. He was 50.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 24, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Rosin Ridge Cemetery in the Victoria Community of Coffee County. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Tharp was a native of Skipperville and was a 1989 Graduate of G.W. Long High School. He was also a graduate of the Alabama Aviation College in Ozark and was involved with the family business, Larry Tharp Drywall. Mr. Tharp was preceded in death by a son, Zackery Tharp.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Lorna Tharp; son, Payne Cole Tharp; two daughters, Kayla (Scotty) Bloom, Selena Tharp; father, Larry D. Tharp (Gwen), all of Skipperville; mother, Bonnie Wambles (Floyd), Victoria Community; sister, Dawna Albritton, Valdosta, GA; two brothers, Jude Tharp (Carolyn), Skipperville, Blake (Melissa) Enfinger.
