OZARK… Mrs. Jessica Douglas Phillips, a resident of Ozark, died Monday evening, October 4, 2021, in Dale Medical Center. She was 39.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Graveside services with military honors, will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Jessica was a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and lived in various locations while her father served in the United States Army. She moved to the Ozark area in 1991 and was a 2000 Graduate of Dale County High School and Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. Jessica was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She returned to the Ozark area in 2012. Jessica was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Rian Tant; maternal grandparents, Benton and Shirley Biby Eldridge and paternal grandparents, Erika and William Cureton; uncle, Michael Cureton.
Surviving relatives include her husband, William Bryan Phillips, Ozark; son, John Tobias Tant, Big Spring, TX; parents, Brian and Nancy Eldridge Douglas; two sisters, Natasha Quebec and Ashley Douglas, all of Ozark; brother, Michael Douglas, Level Plains; mother-in-law, Stephanie Senn, Ozark; father-in-law, Robert William Phillips (Amanda); sister-in-law, Nikki Leatherwood (Shane), Ozark.
