OZARK… Joey Wayne Bamberger (Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday afternoon, July 14, 2021, in Medical Center Enterprise. He was 62.
There are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bamberger was born January 9, 1959, in Winter Haven, Florida. He was retired from the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class and was currently employed with M1Services at Fort Rucker as a supervisor. Mr. Bamberger lived in various places while serving in the United States Army and moved to Ozark in 2004. He loved and enjoyed being with his family and was an avid University of Alabama Football fan. Mr. Bamberger was preceded in death by his father, James Everett Bamberger.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Helen A. Bamberger; children, Michael Wayne, Brandy Marie (Jason), Benjamin Anthony (Mary), Tiffany Rene, Cory Paul (Amelia), and Caleb Dain; mother, Eunice Lee Selph; sisters, Laurie Ann and Patricia; stepsisters, Kelli and Gina; brother, Jamie; grandchildren, Rylee, Joey, Sam, Caden, Grayson, and Jamie.
