Karin Grimes

OZARK…Karin Grimes, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday morning, October 24, 2021, at her home. She was 56.

In keeping with the wishes of the family and Karin, there will be a celebration of life at Ed Lisenby Lake Park Pavilion in Ozark from 2:00-5:30PM, Friday, October 29, 2021. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Karin Grimes was a native of Apple Value, Minnesota and moved to the Wiregrass area in 1982. She was formerly employed with Cross Mart, a vendor with Wal Mart. Karin was passionate about homesteading and off-grid survival and hoped to one day have her own homestead where she could live off the land. She designed her own website with homesteading and survival information, www.wildthingsoffgridsolar.com. She was a friend to anyone she met. Those who knew her, even in just passing by, were greeted by a smile and a warmth that will be truly missed. Her memory will live on through those who were closest to her.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Shannon Beasley, Dothan, AL; her son, Chris Beasley, Pfafftown, NC; mother, Carol Jean Bjork, Apple Valley, MN.
