Kenneth Allen Overton

DALEVILLE…Mr. Kenneth Allen Overton, a resident of Daleville, died early Wednesday afternoon, October 23, 2024, at his home. He was 67.

 Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

 Mr. Overton, son of the late Garfield Overton and Faye Falls Overton, was a native of Elkhart, Indiana. He formerly lived in Ft. Sam Houston, Texas and Decatur, Alabama before moving to Daleville in 1994. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Overton retired as a helicopter mechanic from Fort Rucker (now Fort Novosel). From an early age, Mr. Overton was an avid University of Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Regena Mayo and a special cousin who was like his brother, David Williams.

 Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary L. Overton, Daleville; two sons, Kenny Nolan Overton (Jennifer), Mottville, Michigan and Kerby Overton (Heather), White Pigeon, Michigan; grandson, Kenneth Nolan Overton, Jr.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
