OZARK… Mrs. Laurada Herring Harris, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday morning, May 15, 2022, at her home. She was 86.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Roger Campbell officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
Mrs. Harris, daughter of the Leamon Ellis Herring and Willie Sarah Martin Herring, was a native of Wicksburg. She formerly lived in Ozark and Dothan before returning to Ozark in 1992. Mrs. Harris was co-owner and operator of Discount Dry Cleaners in Dothan. She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Harris (CW3, Retired, United States Army ), siblings, Willie Frank Herring, Lucille Herring Avant, Rosa Lee Herring Smith, James Herring, Allen Herring, Sarah Herring Daniels, and Hazel Herring Scott.
Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Tami Welch (Glenn), Skipperville and Linda Miller (Jeff), Ozark; a sister, Dorothy Brannon (James), Ozark; four grandchildren, Bryan Macko (Sherri), Karissa Dasinger (Rob), Trent Etheredge (Rachel), and Ryan Welch (Whitney); eleven great-grandchildren, Kody Macko, Ian Macko, Georgia Dasinger, Jackson Dasinger, Easton Welch, McKenzie Welch, Madelyn Welch, Wake Welch, Avery Welch, S.J. Etheredge, and Kyle Etheredge.
