OZARK…. Mrs. Lois Still Ingram, a resident of Ozark, died Friday morning, January 29, 2021 in a Dothan hospital. She was 78.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday in Stonebridge Church of God with Reverend George Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Monday in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Ingram, daughter of the late Earnest Still and Kizzie Williams Still, was a native of Blackville, South Carolina. She formerly lived in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina before moving to Ozark while her husband served in the United States Army. Mrs. Ingram moved to Ozark in 1967. She was a devoted pastor’s wife, serving alongside her husband at Stonebridge Church of God since 1979. Mrs. Ingram played the piano and organ at the church. She was formerly employed with Deloney’s IGA and SuperSav Grocery Store as a cashier. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her siblings, James Still, Estelle Bennett, Florie Sweatt, and Virginia Simmons.
Surviving relatives include her husband of fifty nine years, Pastor Floyd Ingram, Ozark; her daughter, Michele Palmer, Dothan; her son, Anthony Ingram (Lorie), Skipperville; a brother, Wilbur Still (Margaret), Blackville, SC; three grandchildren, Hope Messer, Jennifer Stallard (John), and Holden Ingram (Emily); six great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Titan, Christian, Kayla, Noah, Anna, and one on the way; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
