OZARK…Mr. Mack Turner, a resident of Ozark, died late Friday evening, October 2, 2020 in Dale Medical Center. He was 76.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2020 in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Michael Woodham officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside services.
Mr. Turner, son of the late Grady Turner and Amanda Warren Turner, was a native of Edwin and moved to the Ozark area in 1983. He was retired from Turner Logging Company as a truck driver. Mr. Turner was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and attended Chalkhead Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Myrlene Trawick; three brothers, William Turner, Bob Turner, and Austin Turner.
Surviving relatives include his wife of thirty-seven years, June Adams Turner, Ozark; two sons, Alan McLendon (Reba), Ozark and Wade McLendon (Astrid), Ft. Myers, FL; his sister, Alice Morrison, Edwin; two brothers, Billy Turner (Ann), Edwin and Jack Turner (Martha), Dothan; two grandchildren, Christopher McLendon and Jacob McLendon.
Serving as active pallbearers will be David Payne, Lamar Stetson, Leroy McArdle, Jerry Tharpe, Billy Mitchell, and Larry Doster.
