Martha McGaha

ARITON…Martha Lynn McGaha, a resident of Ariton, died Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 2024, at her home. She was 59.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Universalist Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 Mrs. McGaha, daughter of the late Walter Howard Hawkins and Martha Ann Williams, was a native of Montgomery. She was a 1984 Graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and received an Associates Degree from Troy University and a Bachelors Degree from Walden University in Business Administration. Mrs. McGaha worked with Waffle House for over twenty years. She was a member of Tennile Methodist Church and enjoyed baking, puzzles, reading and playing solitaire. Mrs. McGaha was preceded in death by a son, Randall Howard Hawkins.

 Surviving relatives include her daughter, Bobbie Leigh Hawkins (Neil), Ariton; sister, Rita Williams, Ozark; three brothers, Howard Lee Hawkins, Ariton, Bobby Williams, Ariton, and John Williams (Brandy), Ozark; granddaughter, Olivia Faye Kilow; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
