BLUE SPRINGS…Mrs. Mary Beth “Jackie” Wolfe Lindsey, a resident of Blue Springs, Alabama, died early Tuesday evening, March 25, 2025, at her home. She was 77.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 28, 2025, in Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery, Clio, with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday in the sanctuary of Calvary Assembly of God.
Mrs. Lindsey, daughter of the late Andy and Bessie Barbel, was a native of Lawton, Oklahoma. She formerly lived in Anderson, South Carolina and Ozark before moving to Blue Springs six years ago. Mrs. Lindsey retired as a truck driver for Wheel Wright Trucking Company. Some of her favorite times were spent being with her family, singing, and playing the guitar. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Renae Lindsey, son, Billy James “Jamey” Shirley, grandson, Michael Knight, and three brothers, Bobby Wolfe, Lloyd Wolfe, and David Kerr.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Allen C. Lindsey, Blue Springs; four daughters, Mischelle Hammond, Sevierville, Tennessee, Kathy Lindsey, Fletcher, North Carolina, Dawn Grimes (Keith), Clio, and Tracy Miller (Alton), Ozark; a son, Thomas Lindsey, Boone, North Carolina; a brother, Earl Kerr, Pampa, Texas; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren.
