Mary E. Green Williams

OZARK…Mrs. Mary E. Green Williams, a resident of Ozark, passed away late Monday evening, June 19, 2023, at her home. She was 91.

            Homegoing services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023, in St. Rose Baptist Church in Skipperville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Williams was born March 28, 1932, in Skipperville, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband, Shellie Lee Williams; sons, Billy Ray Williams, Willie C. Williams, and Shellie Raymond Williams; a daughter, Edna Faye Williams Dubose; a grandson, James Dubose; sisters, Lera McKinnon, Vassie Thomas, Gurt Bryant, Opal Snell, and Ruth Harper.

            Mary said her farewell on June 19, 2023, and left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Ann Reynolds (Don); sons, Edward Williams (Brenda), Wayne Wesley Williams (Alma), George Alfred Williams (Vean), and Ray Charles Williams; twenty grandchildren, forty- one great-grandchildren, twenty- eight great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
