Melvin Lee Frazier

OZARK… Mr. Melvin Lee Frazier, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023, at his home. He was 62.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Arthur Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

             Mr. Melvin Lee Frazier was born to the late Frank Frazier and Clara Frazier Gardner. He was born and raised in Hallandale, Florida and attended school in the Broward County School system. As an adult, he was employed at Lee Equipment Company. After a couple of years his employer, Mr. Lee, sent him to college to become warehouse manager, and he continued to work there for over twenty years.

             Mr. Melvin was a loved father, son, and brother. We will always cherish and love him, and our precious memories with him will be remembered forever. Mr. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Frazier; brothers, Frankie Frazier and Norman Ware; sister-in-law, Mona Frazier; and brother-in-law, Newt Hunter.

             He leaves to mourn his son, Travis; daughter, Tameka; granddaughter, Jasmine, whom he and his wife raised; four granddaughters; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Frazier, James & Dot Frazier, Thomas & Shannan Ware, and Vincent & April Gardner; sisters, Sylvan Hunter, Carolyn & Darren Florence, Betty Williams, and Mary Frazier; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
