CHALKHEAD COMMUNITY…Mrs. Pamela Fain Williams, a resident of the Chalkhead Community, near Ozark, died late Tuesday evening, November 2, 2021, at her home. She was 61.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, in the Chalkhead Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Woodham officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams was born August 6, 1960, in Ozark, Alabama. She was a 1979 Graduate of Carroll High School and Riley Business College in Dothan. Mrs. Williams was retired from IAM Lodge #2003 in Daleville as a secretary. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ozark. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Geraldine Thompson Fain; husband, Phillip Williams; grandson, Gregory McCollough.
Surviving relatives include her fiance Larry Culpepper Sr.; daughter, Heather Williams (Teresa McCollough), Ozark; son, Justin Williams, Newton; father, James Elton Fain, Ozark; sister, Sandra Peters (Jeff), Ozark; aunt, Martha Faulk (Buddy), Ozark; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Marier Williams and Victoria Shaffer (Travis); two great-grandchildren, Jacobi Shaffer and Kaylee Shaffer; neice, Jessica Peters, Canton, GA; nephew, Jacob Peters, Ozark; several cousins and other family members.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Justin Williams, Jeff Peters, Berry Thames, Travis Shaffer, Jacob Peters, Larry Culpepper, Jr., Steve Milstead, and Jon North.
