Patricia Wood Latham

COLUMBUS, Georgia…Patricia Latham (nee Wood), 56, passed away on November 27, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia surrounded by love and light.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Perry Recreation Center (Banquet Room), located at 223 Community Drive in Ozark, Alabama. Guests are encouraged to dress casually in honor of Patricia’s vibrant spirit.

She is survived by her daughter Brittany Green (Tim), son Josh Latham (Toni) and her beloved grandchildren Timmy and Christoper, her siblings Joseph Wood (Lea), Michelle Young, Debbie Whittle (David) and Joe Wood (Joni), several nieces and nephews and her sweet dog Nick. She leaves behind Amanda and Will Kosnitch who were close friends and an important part of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Hannelore Wood, sister-in-law Stephanie, brother-in-law Brian and great-nephew Ryan. She will reunite with her cherished dog Saban.

Born on July 22, 1968, in Germany, Patricia was a woman of immense love and generosity. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her children and grandsons. Whether watching scary movies, taking trips to Tennessee, or enjoying the open road in her Jeep, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved snuggling with her grand dogs, Vader, Kenobi, and Bear. Her fierce love for her family and friends was unwavering and she was always there when needed. Patricia was a member of the Church of the Highlands in Montgomery where she found faith and community. Her kindness and warmth touched many lives, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Her love of life will live on through her children and grandchildren ensuring that her memory remains a source of comfort and inspiration for those who loved her most.
