SKIPPERVILLE…. Philip Joseph Duncan, a resident of Skipperville, died Thursday afternoon, February 27, 2020 at his home. He was 54.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Sasser officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Duncan was a native of Vermont having moved to Ozark in 1983. He was currently employed with M-1 Fleet Support Services at Fort Rucker as a helicopter mechanic. Mr. Duncan was member of the Claybank Masonic Lodge #908 and was a Reserve Deputy with the Dale County Sheriff’s Department until 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Duncan and his sister-in-law, Cynthia Tilley.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Stephanie Duncan; his daughter, Brandy Bracewell, Ozark; mother, Marie Duncan, Turner, ME; brother, Charles Duncan, LaGrange, GA; five grandchildren, Cody Enfinger, Caleab Bracewell, Kaylee Bracewell, Kayden Blevins, and Shelby Enfinger; great-granddaughter, Bae Enfinger; special friends, Miranda and Kenny Phillips, Jerry and Phoebe Miller, and Adam Bruhn; several nieces and his beloved K-9 companion, Dixie.
