Phillip Snell

OZARK…Mr. Phillip Snell, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday morning, March 26, 2025, at his home. He was 65.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 31, 2025, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with his cousin, Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Brown’s Church Cemetery, Echo Community. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his daughter, Pamela, 347 County Road 401, Ozark.

Mr. Snell, son of the late Jerome Snell and Willodene Johnson Snell, was a native of the Brown’s Church Community, near Echo. He was employed with Ozark Peanut & Fertilizer for over forty years until becoming disabled. Mr. Snell enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and raising chickens. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John T. Robinson.

Surviving relatives include his wife of forty-five years, Wanda Robinson Snell; daughter, Pamela Greene (B.J.), all of Ozark; grandchildren, Stephen Aldridge and Carrie Woolley (Sean); two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Greene and James Woolley; several nieces and nephews, including three special nieces that he thought of like his daughters, Kayla Robinson, Hope Groomes (Todd), and Victoria Robinson (his T-Roy); relatives from the Robinson family, his mother-in-law, Cathryn Cox, Keith “Rip” and Pat Robinson, Allison Robinson, Vicky Napper, and John “PeeWee” Robinson (Susan); his best friend, Mixon “Cull C” Hunter; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Jimmie Williams, Bobby Aldridge, Tracy Cook, Kevin Strickland, Michael Campbell, Jeffrey Powell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Cooper, Stephen Aldridge, and Rip Robinson.
