OZARK…Mr. Robert A. Gause (Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died late Friday evening, October 25, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. He was 65.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gause, son of the late Thermon Lee Gause and Lieselotte Eva Gause, was a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was retired from the United States Army after over twenty years of service. Some of his favorite things to do was woodworking, fishing, camping trips, bike riding, and most of all spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fay Curry.
Surviving relatives include his wife of nineteen years, Mabeline Gause, Ozark; daughters, Jessica Lynn Chancey (Heath) and Lordorise Barr; sons, Thomas Gause (Becky) and Ronnie Cheathem; sisters, Jody Gause and Annie Bright (Leo); brother, George Gause; six grandchildren, Makayla Chancey, Emma Chancey, William Obie Chancey, Kentravious Barr, De’Andre Barr, and Jalaya Cheathem; loving family friend, Debbie Bast.
