Sadia Pots

Sadia Jeanette Potts died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. She was 67.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Potts was born in Barbour County on August 9, 1949, the daughter of the late William Danner and Lessie Irene Shehane Danner. She was employed as a florist at The Flower Shoppe in Ozark for over 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Potts and her son, Ernest "Cowboy" Potts.

Mrs. Potts leaves behind to cherish her memories, a daughter, Tonia J. Grundhauser and her husband Chad; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Potts; grandchildren, Andrew Grundhauser, April Beasley, Ashley Powell (Clayton Powell, II), Benjamin McMillan and Christopher Ratcliffe; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Grundhauser, Mason Grundhauser, Isabella M. Irene Beasley, Rebecca Powell, Lisa Powell and Clayton Powell III; and three sisters, Sylivia Danner, Nadine Wilson and Vivian Dorrill.
