OZARK… Mrs. Shirley Johnson Hyatt, a resident of Ozark, died late Friday evening, November 23, 2018 at her home. She was 72.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Hopeful Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Floyd Ingram and Reverend Tim Burgess officiating. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hyatt, daughter of the late Clarence Douglas Johnson and Gussie Irene Boswell Johnson, was a native of Elba and lived in Ozark most of her adult lifetime. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Hyatt enjoyed going to yard sales. She was a member of Stonebridge Church of God in Ozark. Mrs. Hyatt was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hyatt and six sisters, Lily Sasser, Vivian Parks, Nell Bowman, Jean Jones, Norma Rhodes, and Lonnie Mae Johnson.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Lynn Smith (Buddy), Sandy Wilson (Steve) and Renee Lott, all of Ozark; four sisters, Liz Cox, Rivergrove, IL; Johnnie Risner (Gary), Mary Kilborne (Dan), all of Newnan, GA; Pat Austin, Ozark; two brothers, Douglas Johnson (Kitty), Ozark and Tommy Johnson (Susie), Cottonwood; eight grandchildren, Brandon Knight (Peyton), Bradley Turner, Molly Keith (Jackie), Sarah Childree, Jasmine Howard (Justin), Jordan Wilson, Jarred Lott and Ethan Lott (Daisy); five great-grandchildren, Charlie-Rae Knight, Addie-Mae Knight, Brycen Knight, Luke Thomas Knight, and Kenley Howard; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Calvin Cox.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Brandon Knight, Jarred Lott, Ethan Lott, Calvin Cox, John Cox, and Stacey Hyatt.
