OZARK…. Mr. Steve Napier, a resident of Ozark, died early Tuesday morning, April 2, 2019, in a Dothan hospital. He was 66.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall of Post Oak Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Post Oak Baptist Church General Fund, 4108 N. Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
Mr. Napier, son of the late Sam and Mary Ida Stubbs Napier, was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. He was a 1970 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College. Mr. Napier was retired from the Ft. Rucker Fire Department as a firefighter after thirty years of employment. He was a member of Ozark Masonic Lodge #349. Mr. Napier was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church where he served as deacon and formerly served as the church clerk.
Surviving relatives include his brother, Wayne Napier, Ozark; several cousins and other relatives also survive.
