OZARK… Mr. Timothy Mark “Tim” Sexton, a resident of Ozark, died Monday evening, August 29, 2022, in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was 57.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brian Presley, Pastor Michael Woodham and Mr. Anthony Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Mr. Sexton, son of the late Charles Sexton and Stephanie Miller Sexton, was a native of Dothan. He formerly lived in Cowarts before moving to Ozark. Mr. Sexton was currently employed with Wiregrass Construction as an Asphalt Paving foreman and was formerly employed with Couch Construction in Dothan for twenty years. He attended Chalkhead Baptist Church and Ozark First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Melissa; a sister-in-law, Millie Mills; biological father, John Calvin Reed; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Mae Opal Rogers Munn.
Surviving relatives include his wife of thirty years, Donna Munn Sexton, Ozark; two daughters, Shelby Lynne Sexton, Ozark and Melanie Brady (Matthew), Ashford; two sons, Timothy Eric Sexton (Lorie), Cowarts and Christopher Trey Sexton (Laurel), Quincy, Illinois; a sister, Jamie Marie Hubbard (Tom), Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a brother, Charles Kevin Sexton, Ashford; six grandchildren, Carson Hayes Brady, Emily Grace Brady, Ellie Brooke Brady, September Marie Sexton, Alyssa Hines, and Alex Hines; a great-great grandson, Teddy; relatives from the Munn family, Robert Edward Munn (Vicki), Dothan and Joseph Keith Munn (Paula), Ozark; a special brother and lifelong friend, Jason Peters, Cowarts; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
