OZARK…. Mrs. Tommie Parker Turner, a resident of Ozark, died Tueday afternoon, September 18, 2018 in the Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 75.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Jamie Hattaway officiating. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ozark was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Turner, daughter of the late Raymond William Parker and Mildred Louise DuBose Parker, was a native of Jefferson County, Alabama. She formerly lived in New Brockton and Dothan before moving to Ozark in 1967. In earlier years, Mrs. Turner was employed with Dothan Hosiery Mill in Dothan and West Brothers Store in Enterprise. She was of the Assembly of God faith and attended El Bethel Assembly of God Church near New Brockton. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Hogan and a brother, James Aaron Parker.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Sammy J. Turner, Ozark; a sister, Cathy Potts (Larry), Alexandria, LA and a brother, Charles Parker (Gayle), Ozark; nieces and nephews also survive.
