Verdell Alice Bryant Beasley

MADISON…Mrs. Verdell Alice Bryant Beasley, a resident of Madison, Alabama (formerly of Ozark), died early Thursday morning, December 12, 2024, in a Madison hospital. She was 74.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michelle Reed officiating. Burial will follow in St. Rose Baptist Church Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Beasley, daughter of the late Daniel Bryant and Gurtha Lee Green, was a native of Dale County. She was preceded in death by her son, Calvin Cecil Greenwood and her siblings, Marvin Bryant, David Bryant, and Frances Bryant.

 Surviving relatives include her husband, Robert J. “Bob” Beasley, Madison, Alabama; daughter, Tonia Jackson, Madison, Alabama; four grandchildren, Vanity Greenwood, Dominique Greenwood, Shanika Bryant, and Khadiaja Walker; nine greatgrandchildren and other relatives.
