Wendell Davis

OZARK…Mr. Wendell G. Davis, a resident of Ozark, died early Saturday morning, April 1, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. He was 73.

In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Davis, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Gideons International, Ozark Camp, PO Box 291, Ozark, Alabama 36361.

Mr. Davis, son of the late Dr. Shelby R. Davis and Margaret McCarver Davis, was born August 31, 1949 in Grant, Alabama. He was a 1968 Graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Davis was employed in the metal roofing industry until his retirement. He was an avid Auburn University Football fan.

Surviving relatives include his sister, Linda Davis Miller (David), Rocky Head Community; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
