She completed her entire school years at Providence Christian School where she played volleyball and was chosen as one of the Dothan Eagle Super 12 Volleyball players of the Wiregrass. She was an A/B honor roll student during her school years. After graduation from high school, she attended Troy University where she studied Media Marketing and Global Business. From the volleyball court to the pageant world, Whitney's pageant career began with Miss Houston County in 2011-2012. In 2012, the most unexpected thing happened when she was named Miss National Peanut Festival Queen. The memories made and the people she met during that year taught her so much. She lived everyday by the motto of "make memories". In 2013, she won Miss Alabama International and represented Alabama at the Miss International Pageant in Jacksonville, FL. In 2017, Whitney was asked to participate in Dancing with the Stars in Dothan.

Whitney not only was a pageant queen, she was a certified NRA Firearms Instructor, and loved everything outdoors. She was a very well-rounded young lady and lived life to the absolute fullest in her short twenty-five years. In 2018, Whitney was selected to participate in Leadership Dothan and she was sponsored by Ameris Bank. She attended Covenant United Methodist Church.
